We have been instructed by the client to deal with his insurance claim following a lightning strike! The TV aerial was hit by lightning which caused a fire in the lounge and resulted in smoke damage throughout the property!
It also damaged the electrical installation so badly that the property will have to be rewired! Fortunately, the client was in the property and was awoken by the strike and managed to put the fire out himself.
Home-Approved has agreed the remedial works with the insurance company/appointed loss adjuster, prepared a specification and building plans and obtained estimates. We will carry out regular inspections to monitor the progress and standard of the work, certify payments and deal with any variations that may occur.
Following completion we scrutinise and certify the contractor’s final account and agreed costs with the insurance company.
