In many cases this important consideration is overlooked. As a result the integrity of the roof is compromised, the roof timbers will distort and the cost of repairs is significant.
Your surveyor should check all parts of the roof structure and ensure that where the roof covering has been replaced the roof structure has been strengthened correctly.
